FIELDWORKS
Contemporary Dance Festival
Presented by New Industry Dance Company
Experience a movement at South Bend’s third FIELDWORKS Contemporary Dance Festival. Hosted by New Industry Dance, this weekend-long celebration connects the local community with the wider world of contemporary dance through visiting artists, vibrant performances, curated dance films, dynamic masterclasses, and community conversations at various locations around the city. Audiences, performers, and students can participate in any or all of the festival events throughout the weekend.
Launched in 2024, FIELDWORKS elevates the regional arts scene by uniting professional and emerging dancers and exposing audiences to boundary-pushing performance. Regular post-show talkbacks transform this exposure into education, demystifying the art form and fostering a lasting local appreciation for contemporary dance.
An open call for submissions for live performances and dance films will be announced soon.
