A new Biennial has been announced at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. Set to open at the start of the new year, the inaugural Notre Dame Arts Biennial will bring more than 100 exhibitions, performances, workshops, artist residencies, and other public events to Notre Dame and the South Bend region from January through June 2027.

Newcity Chicago – The first ever Notre Dame Arts Biennial will run from January-June 2027 and feature more than a hundred public events, including exhibitions, performances, community workshops and guest artists for a six-month festival of visual, literary, spatial and performing arts, with most events free to attend. Highlights will include programs with artist and architect Maya Lin, novelist Zadie Smith, artist Sougwen Chung and writer-photographer Cig Harvey.
