Apply to the Biennial Network
The Biennial Network application will remain open on a rolling basis via Submittable until April 30, 2027. You will be prompted to log in to your Submittable account or create a free account.
Although the Notre Dame Arts Biennial is new, there are many artists, arts organizations, and arts supporters within and beyond Notre Dame's community who regularly plan performances, exhibitions, and other arts-related events open to the public. If you have relevant programming that will occur between January and June 2027, you are encouraged to apply for your event to become part of the larger Biennial Network. The network will provide cross-promotional amplification to strengthen the local and global arts ecosystem that anchors the biennial.
If selected, applicants will have a brief consultation with Arts Initiative staff to discuss a plan for cross-promotion and to receive relevant biennial marketing materials. The full calendar of Biennial Network activities will also be available online.
Events within the Biennial Network are independently produced. Use of either party’s names, logos, or marks requires prior written approval and compliance with brand guidelines.
Eligibility
Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students as well as individuals and groups both based in and serving communities in St. Joseph County and its six surrounding counties (Elkhart, Marshall, Starke, and LaPorte in Indiana and Berrien and Cass in Michigan) are eligible to apply to the Biennial Network. This includes Notre Dame affiliates based on campus or at one of the University’s 12 global locations, local non-profit organizations, businesses, or government agencies, and departments, institutes, centers, or other units within school districts, individual K-12 schools, and higher education institutions. Eligibility is not limited to arts-based groups or arts presenting organizations. Student-led projects submitted to the network require a faculty sponsor.
Deadlines
The form to submit your event(s) for consideration is currently open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis until April 30, 2027. Submissions must be received at least eight weeks prior to the start of the event to be eligible for consideration, but earlier submissions are encouraged to allow more time for cross-promotion.
